Rm3 The Big Race

A big congratulations to all of the amazing runners from Rm3, a fantastic effort!! a big high five to the mums, dads, siblings and grandparents that came to support, it made for an exciting start and finish.

In the morning before the race we put our science time to good use and made some energy-giving milo with marshmallows. Lots of discussions about how the milo and marshmallows started out and what happened after we added hot water...

Then it was time to walk the course....we joined the rest of the Junior Syndicate and familiarised ourselves with the route through the paddocks. Aiden and Hannah pointed out a number of hazards to look out for, great spotting guys!! Aaron from Rm1 gave the course a big two thumbs up...

Then it was time for the big race. I was lucky enough to catch a few of the children on the starting line with the help of my student photographer. What a great day we all had, I am certain there would have been some tired heads on pillows that night....
