Mmmm Muffins

Today Room 3 put on their bakers hats, and with the fabulous support of Erika and Elsja (Emma and Andreas' mum) and Des, we had 3 muffin baking stations on the go! The children split into three teams that produced banana muffins, blueberry muffins and apple muffins (no complaints about the absence of chocolate!!). The children were impressive and enthusiastic bakers, with many sharing their knowledge from baking at home. They showed fantastic teamwork, and excellent measuring and egg cracking skills. It was very cool to see children engaged in reading packet labels as they "shopped" for the right product at the ingredients table. Thanks again to our parent helpers, the experiences would not have been so rich and hands on without you, and thanks Des for capturing our muffin moments.....
